In a world advocating for AI, we advocate for humans
AI should enhance creativity, not replace it. StoryTribe empowers humans to create more, keeping art and storytelling in our hands.

If AI is going to change how we tell stories, it needs to start at the beginning, where ideas are born, not at the end.
Your feed is probably full of it: GPT-generated stills in dreamy palettes, your friend's selfie reimagined as a Spirited Away side character, clips from existing films transformed into Ghibli-style animations. It’s visually stunning.
But also... completely useless.
Another half-solution in a growing pile of AI toys that look magical… but don’t really do anything.
Honestly, what problem does it solve?
Yes, it makes things look nice. But eye candy only lasts for a moment. Everyone is already turning everything into Ghibli-style, and when everything looks like Ghibli... nothing feels special anymore. It is becoming just another filter anyone can apply in seconds.
Also, poor Studio Ghibli is at risk of losing half a century of craftsmanship to a flood of quick AI remixes.
We have to remember, people aren’t using these tools to tell stories. They’re using them to stylise what already exists. It’s less about creativity, and more about decoration.
And this is not how ideas are born or how stories get made. It doesn’t encourage people to be more creative.
We think AI can be transformative. But only if it helps solve a real problem and supports humans in a meaningful way.
The real creative bottleneck isn’t “How do I make my selfie look like Totoro?”
It’s: “How do I bring my idea to life, when I don’t have the time, the skills, or a Pixar budget?”
That’s the space we’re building in.
StoryTribe isn’t about stylising someone else’s film.
It’s about helping you start yours.
Imagine a tool that helps you quickly sketch a simple scene or a rough visual idea, using our drag-and-drop canvas. That sketch becomes your prompt, which you can edit and re-prompt however you like.
Then, you can 3D-fy it. Or animate it. Or just keep it raw.
The point is: it’s your idea.
Not just a clever filter on someone else’s.
Most of what’s out there right now is novelty. It’s technically brilliant, and functionally empty.
What we need isn’t more eye-catching filters. We need better tools that actually support the creative process. Not just visual gimmicks, real workflows.
If AI is going to change how we tell stories, it needs to start at the beginning — where ideas are born — not at the end.
That’s where we’re focused.
StoryTribe is still in its early days, and we know there’s a long road ahead. But this is the vision we’re building toward, and we’d love for you to follow along as we grow.
We don’t have AI features yet (they’re on our roadmap), but when we do bring AI into StoryTribe, it won’t be a gimmick.
It will be a real upgrade to your creative workflow.

We’re not just making another visual AI tool. We’re building the foundation first: a new alphabet and grammar for visual storytelling to pioneer the Visual LLM space. 🚀
